Duty Manager – Club Old Bar & Club West
Old Bar & Taree, NSW (Mid North Coast)

We’re searching for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager who thrives on leading from the front, supporting their team, and creating great experiences for members and guests, all with the ocean at your doorstep.

About the Role
As Duty Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the smooth operation of the club during your shift. You’ll lead by example, motivate staff, and take pride in delivering excellent service across bar, gaming, bowls, and functions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising daily operations and leading front-line teams
  • Providing outstanding customer service and handling member enquiries
  • Managing cash handling, compliance, and end-of-shift reporting
  • Monitoring gaming operations and ensuring policy and regulatory standards are met
  • Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere for all
  • Supporting management in achieving business and service goals
Our Ideal Candidate
You’re a confident and positive leader who enjoys being hands-on and part of a close-knit team. You’ll also bring:
  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager or senior hospitality supervisor
  • Current RSA and RCG qualifications
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Sound knowledge of cash handling and club operations
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and a rotating roster
Desirable qualifications: ARCG and First Aid Certificate; experience with gaming, TAB, Keno, or bowls operations.
